Presenting Classic Rock music with punch and style has
made Mountain Ash one of Southern Minnesota's favorite bands. Since
the band was formed in 1973, this Southern Minnesota based group has
wowed audiences from large outdoor festivals to small clubs everywhere
throughout the five-state area. Over the years, Mountain Ash has had
the pleasure of opening concert stages for artists such as Boston,
Poison, Cheap Trick, Skid Row, Ratt, Vince Neil, REO Speedwagon, Joan
Jett, Slaughter, Head East, Loverboy, Eric Burdon, 38-Special, Grand
Funk Railroad, Lou Gramm, Mitch Ryder, and The Little River Band. Members
of Mountain Ash include Roger Anderson (vocals), Mark Kirchhoff (guitar
and vocals), Kevin Abernathy (guitar and vocals), Mark Juenemann (bass
guitar and vocals), and Brandon Fjetland (drums). Mountain Ash returns
to Moondance Jam for the ninth consecutive year.
