Born in September 1977 in Minneapolis, Elijah discovered an instrument that allowed him to expend his endless energy with an expression of his soul – he learned to play the guitar. Beginning his musical journey without a penny in his pocket and only a dream in his heart Elijah has made his way among the very best in the Midwest for playing, singing, and song writing. Elijah has made his mark early by reminding people that there is still new talent ready to take their music and introduce it to a whole new audience. In addition to displaying his pyrotechnic guitar work he has become one of the most spirited entertainers the region has to offer. Regardless of whether he is performing solo or with ensembles ranging from a power trio to a full six-piece band complete with a blistering horn section, it is a sure bet his audience will leave the show feeling fully entertained.
Elijah has had the opportunity to play with some of the very best in the business. He’s played along side of or opened shows for the likes of Black Oak Arkansas, Jeff Healey, Buddy Guy, The Coasters, Walter Trout, Bernard Allison, Jonny Lang, G.B. Leighton, Jelly Bean Johnson from the Time, Michael Bland from Princes New Power Generation, and several other regional and national acts.
